We require a team of people to help assist our team of tent erectors in pitching/striking of a tented village for our client at a school in Loughton, Essex.
You will need to find your own way there and back. Free parking will be available on site.

Job Description:
You will be part of a team who will be assisting our team of staff in pitching / striking a number of different sized tents for the client.
Days required to work:
We require assistance on the following days, at the following times each shift will last a minimum of 4 hours and has a half hour unpaid lunch.
Wednesday 11 September 11am - 3.30pm
Friday 13 September 11am - 3.30pm

You do not have to be available for both days, but it would be helpful.
Other

• Onsite along with some online training will be given on how to pitch the tents.
• Free Car parking is available on site. It is your responsibility to get to the site each day on time.
• Please wear suitable clothing including footwear as we still work if it is raining. Therefore waterproof jacket, trousers and proper footwear.
• Likewise, if it is hot and sunny please wear / bring sun cream.
• Please bring your own food and drinks as there is nothing on site and with half an hour for lunch, there is not enough time to leave the site to get lunch.

Pay Scale
£11.60 per hour for over 21+ years old for a minimum 4 hour day.
£8.60 per hour for 18-20 Years old for a minimum 4 hour day.
If you are between 16-17 years old you may be considered but at a rate of £6.40 per hour.
You will be paid on completion of the work by Friday 20 September 2024 direct into your bank account.
You must have a right to work in the United Kingdom and your wage is subject to HMRC Taxes and NI if thresholds are met.

Who are Tent 2 Hire?
We are a family company which started in 2011 and is based in West Sussex. We create tented villages for between 10-2500 people all around the country and even abroad throughout the summer.
We have now been creating the tented villages at the Open Golf Championship since 2016.
Other past Villages include the Tough Mudder, Olympics 2012, British Grand Prix, Isle of Man TT races.
