Perfect Vehicle Preparation are looking for a Vehicle Prepper to join our team based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire on a full-time, permanent basis, working 45 hours per week and offering a competitive hourly rate of £17.50.
We provide first class vehicle preparation services and are a progressive, emerging company focused on building a thriving team of employees who truly make a difference to our customers and partners. This role will be a key part of the vehicle cosmetic rectification process.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• To carry the preparation of panels and bodywork paintwork to a high standard for cars that are to be resprayed.
• Knowledge of all necessary techniques associated with body work repair including panel repair and paint preparation.
• Polishing, removing damaged panels, flat polish on newly and old painted vehicles, trim removal and refit.
• Re-work vehicles when instructed following further identified needs after inspection.
• Masking off the parts of the vehicle not being painted, prepare vehicles in readiness for spraying.
• Ensuring all relevant system / paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
• Takes ownership of all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Able to work as a team, and support and assist colleagues.
• You may be required to undertake other duties to meet business requirements and setting, including working alongside other departments.
• Comply with all Health and Safety instructions and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others who may be working or entering the work area and report all hazards to your line manager.
