We are currently seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a bustling restaurant in the heart of the city. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy providing exceptional service to guests, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and drink orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic maths for order taking and bill calculation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn about culinary offerings and assist in food preparation when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.50-£14.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
