Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a carer for a 12-hour waking night shift to join our dedicated team supporting a female client in her specially adapted home in Bexhill on Sea (TN39). The client has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, scoliosis, and learning disability. Her home is equipped with hoists and accessible bath to meet her daily needs.
During the day, she requires two carers and enjoys daily outings in her accessible vehicle and relies on her care team to provide the support she needs. At night, a sleeping carer will be on hand to assist the waking night carer as needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a compassionate team that works closely with her and her family, ensuring her routine and activities are engaging and fulfilling.
With this client, you'll be engaged in a Rota of 3-5 or more shifts a week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.
Job type: Waking Night Shift -8 PM-8 AM (12 hrs)
Pay rate: £18.17 per hour; more on bank holidays

Shift Care Job Overview
As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.
