About the role:
Due to an exciting period of growth, Harvest Pet Products is recruiting for the brand-new role of Warehouse Operative (Ecommerce), reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s online orders are efficiently and accurately processed, from picking and packing to shipping. They will work in a warehouse environment, handling the logistics of order fulfilment, stock management and ensuring that products are dispatched on time to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labelling for delivery.
• Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Receive, inspect and record incoming goods, ensuring that stock is correctly stored and organised.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare shipping labels and dispatch orders using the company’s courier systems.
• Ensure all orders are dispatched on time, meeting the required delivery schedules.
• Liaise with couriers to resolve any shipping issues or delays.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trolleys if required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping, organising inventory and stock replenishment.
• Accurately record stock levels and transactions.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged goods or shortages to the Production Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification.

Salary: £12.15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 05.30am to 2.30pm
Location: Keelby, Lincolnshire
Contract: Full time, permanent
