Background Requirements
Due to this being a contract position working for the US government all candidates must be a U.S. citizen and pass a criminal and financial background check as well as a drug test.
Required Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with either federal financial management or Do D audit readiness or 3 years’ experience with environmental cleanup and CTC estimates.
• Environmental & Disposal Liabilities experience strongly preferred.
• or B.S. in Business, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field. Experience may be substituted for education. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Professional services experience and/or experience supporting public sector clients in a client-facing role.
• Strong attention to detail; strong data/time management and organizational skills; strong verbal/written communication skills; self-starter; and ability to build relationship with client.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe
• Must be a US Citizen and CONUS-located

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading cross functional teams
• Operational understanding/environmental and disposal liabilities experience is preferred.
• Experience with Do D financial statement audit, internal control testing or analysis, and coordinating with external auditors.
• Knowledge of Army financial management policies, systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of the Comprehensive Environmental Resource, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and other environmental policy.
• Specialized certification to include CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or other equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Environmental Database of Record.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
