POSITION SUMMARY:


Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join our expanding Accounts Receivable department and provide financial, administrative, and clerical support. This position will ensure accuracy of billing and reduce invoice rejections, process, and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.


POSITION DUTIES:

• 
  Data entry for invoicing (in Intacct), including hours worked, materials used, and rentals.

• Data entry for invoice submission (in online software).

• Investigate customer complaints regarding invoices, over payment and addresses issues as they arise.

• Assist in creating electronic copies for filing and in filing electronically.

• Collection of customer accounts.

• Assist in answering phones and front door as customers come in.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 
  Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Time management

• Ability to analyze large sets of data using Microsoft Excel (e.g. sorting spreadsheet data)

• Data entry experience for invoicing

• Strong verbal, writing, and math skills

• Excellent multi-tasking ability

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently with little supervision.

• Microsoft knowledgeable

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 
  High School Diploma

• Previous accounting experience preferred.

• Sage Intacct Accounting Software experience preferred but not required.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills (heavy email communications)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

• Sit for prolonged periods.
