Join our Cabin Monuments and Integration (CMI) team in Everett, WA as our Associate Director, Program Management Office (PMO). Reporting directly to L3 Value Stream Leader, the Associate Director, supports the entire CMI global portfolio and ensures that projects are managed effectively to achieve predictable program performance. . The PMO standardizes the project-related governance processes and facilitates the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools, and techniques in alignment with Collins Management System and business needs. Although we prefer an onsite role type to our Everett, WA facility, we will also consider candidates open to a hybrid role type to our Everett, WA Collins Aerospace facility.
What You Will Do:

Champion the PMO’s mission as a dynamic force for organizational success, empowering teams to embrace and adhere to robust standards and methodologies through cutting-edge frameworks, tools, and training.

Craft and implement groundbreaking standards, processes, and policies for project management that drive excellence and innovation across the business.

Design a transformative data structure that empowers the organization to seamlessly manage resources across diverse projects and portfolios, enhancing efficiency and collaboration.

Revolutionize project performance reporting with standardized metrics that illuminate progress and outcomes, ensuring transparency and accountability at every level.
-
Forge and elevate project management methodologies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the organization.

Deliver impactful training and development programs for VSL/PM teams, enhancing review cadence effectiveness and building a skilled, agile workforce.
-
Provide specialized support services such as project planning, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring teams have the tools they need to succeed.
-
Define and roll out an Integrated Master Schedule for all programs, selecting the best tools and processes to ensure alignment and adherence throughout the organization.
-
Establish scalable resource management strategies across core IPT critical resource pools (PM, Eng, Ops, SC) to facilitate proactive planning and optimized scheduling.

Develop intuitive program dashboards that enhance performance management and support the establishment and maturation of IPT meetings, PMRs, and TAP cadences, ensuring continuous oversight of program health.

Document the current state and formulate a visionary strategy to enhance supporting system effectiveness and integration (PMIS, ERP, document management, risk management, performance management, time tracking), driving operational excellence.

Support domestic and international business travel up to 25%
What You Will Learn:

Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in the absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant aerospace experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

PMP Certification preferred, or ability to obtain PMP certification
-
Experience in leading enterprise-level PMO or similar program management functions within a complex, cross-functional environment
-
Experience within operational and agile project management, preferably within an aerospace company and manufacturing environment.

Experience leading global organizations through transformational change
-
Experience translating requirements to integrate business systems (project management information systems, enterprise resource planning tools, time charging systems)

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
