• Responsibilities will vary from performing one procedure or work instruction to a number of analytical, microbiological, or quality system procedures or work instructions in a Food Safety Laboratory.
• Precision and accuracy in performance of the work instructions and data collection is essential; must be able to maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.

• College degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Physical Sciences
• Laboratory experience would be helpful.
• Work duties include following standard operating procedures and repetitive operations such as doing lab tests.

• General knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office Applications.
• Training needs for this position are listed in the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Other training as needed as well as annual training will be required.
• Daily work will be determined and assigned by supervisor.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management.
