Mevron Records is seeking passionate and skilled Music Booking Agents or agencies specializing in Afrobeat to join our team. We aim to expand our reach and performance opportunities for our Afrobeat artists in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure live performance opportunities, including concerts, tours, and festivals, focused on the Afrobeat genre.
- Negotiate contracts and fees with promoters, venues, and event organizers across the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts to broaden our Afrobeat artist roster's visibility and reach.
- Coordinate logistics such as travel, accommodations, and performance schedules.
- Collaborate with artists and management to align bookings with each artist’s career trajectory and goals.
Requirements:
- A deep passion for Afrobeat music and a strong understanding of the genre’s global appeal.
- Relevant experience in booking or event planning, especially within the Afrobeat or world music sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital tools and the role of technology in the music and entertainment industry.
