We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. Based in Foster City, California you will primarily be responsible for AP and AR processing full cycle. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring all accounts are maintained accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in full cycle.
• Maintain and update all customer credit records accurately.
• Assist with property billing and invoicing to ensure all financial transactions are processed on time.
• Handle ad hoc projects as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
• Utilize various property accounting softwares such as Yardi or App Folio for data entry and record keeping.
• Assist in refining and improving accounting procedures to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or related role is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Proficiency in App Folio software is required
• Demonstrated ability in data entry
• Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
