Bookkeeper (PART-TIME)

Neu Analytics is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team part-time. The Bookkeeper will perform various accounts payable and other financial activities that require accurately processing, recording, and updating fiscal information per established financial practices and state regulations.

What You Will Do for Us:

Record numerical and financial data to produce financial records.
Ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately.
Enter journal entries to debit and credit the company’s accounts.
Generate accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
Perform financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal.
Reconcile and reports differences or issues found in financial records.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring to Us:

Working understanding of accounting principles
Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel.
Working understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

What Your Education & Experience Look Like:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree with accounting coursework preferred.
At least five years of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the financial industry.
Proficiency in accounting software Quick Books
