Community Advisor for International High School Exchange Students

PART TIME & CONTRACT

You will be working part-time as an independent contractor and will be paid based on the number of students that you place and supervise. Placement payments are made when the placement is confirmed and supervision payments are made monthly.
We provide all needed training, as well as ongoing support. This is an opportunity for someone who is excited about diversity and culture and enjoys working with people.
You can mostly work from home but will need to see the students you're supervising in person each month and will need to visit host family homes every 3 months. You will need to live within 60 miles of the students you supervise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Interest in world cultures and international relations
- Self-motivated and comfortable reaching out to new people
- Responsive through email and phone/text
- Resourceful and able to problem-solve
- Computer literacy, including the ability to navigate PDFs, social media, online databases, and various smartphone apps.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with children, teens, and/or families preferred
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Over 25 years old (or turning 25 in the near future)
Pay: $1,100.00 - $6,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
