Position Details:
Duration: 6 Months +
Note:

• 10-15 years’ experience cooking
• Experience preparing event style food, not just line cooking experience.

Shift: Monday to Friday (6:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Job Description

• Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Preparing food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Proven experience as cook
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
• Texas food handler certificate
• 10-15 years’ experience cooking
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience preparing event style food, Not just line cooking experience.
• Must have a good employment history with a focus on multiple year longevity.
