DESCRIPTION
As a Cost Engineer at Five Star Electric, reporting to the Project Executive, you will have the opportunity to:

Cost Code and Progress Tracking: Assist field and office supervision to accurately monitor, update, and maintain project cost.
Billing Management: Assist with oversite of subcontractor invoicing, ensuring accuracy, and adherence to contract terms.
Time and Material Estimating: Develop accurate estimates for time and material work.
Change Order Estimating: Assist in takeoff, estimation, and tracking of project change orders.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient in cost management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Procore.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes.
Ability to operate in both field and office environments.

The salary for this position is between $70,000 and $95,000 depending on experience
