Job Description
POSITION DUTIES - This position serves as the recognized resource for issues of Vehicle Records relating to the Customer and Automotive Records System (CARS). This position serves as a senior level analyst within the Vehicle Records Program Section (VRPS), is responsible for research, program analysis, procedure documentation and development, maintenance and development of various databases, training section staff and creating and processing testing scenarios for program changes. This position administers and manages the COLD program. This position leads major projects, provide studies, and serves as a liaison with our customers, programmers and systems staff regarding driver record related problems. The senior level analyst also provides studies, surveys, reviews and reports as required. This position conducts legislative analysis and proposes new legislation supporting vehicle record related issues. This position also assists with administration of the Department’s Electronic Filing System (Michigan EFS), Abandoned Vehicle, and NMVTIS programs.
APPOINTMENT TYPE/BENEFITS - This position is Full-Time. Therefore, you would be eligible to participate in the benefits offered by the state.
