Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking an entry level Registered Dietitian to provide inpatient care at Peconic Bay Medical Center. PBMC, part of the Northwell system, is located in Riverhead, NY.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on med/surg units;
• be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;
• work rotating weekends and holidays providing hospital-wide coverage;
• be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; and
• efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

• Registered Dietitian credential, or who are RD eligible;
• excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;
• strong verbal and written communication skills;
• strong time management skills; and
• the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
