Note that this is a union position. If not already members, successful candidates will be required to join LIUNA (Local 292).
Reporting to the Drilling Superintendent our Drillers will:

• Produce clear, precise and legible drill log/production reports
• Conduct pre start checks and daily routine maintenance on equipment
• Operate and troubleshoot drill and ancillary equipment, including but not limited to: trucks, support vehicles, pumps, heaters, compressors, etc.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements
• Ensure Drill Assistant(s) maintain and organize equipment supplies and tooling for the drill rig

Qualifications required:

• a minimum of 1 years' experience operating diamond/core drill rigs;
• a minimum of 5 years' experience as a drill rig operator;
• willingness and ability to relocate (preference) or travel on rotation (an option) to Washington state
• strong English language communication skills, both written and oral
• ability to safely and freely access and work in all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments (heat/cold; rain/snow).
• be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Pay scale and benefits (including health) per LIUNA collective agreement in force at time of hire. As at today's date, the current wage range is $48.68 to $50/hr depending on experience and duties. All benefits and overtime are in accordance with the collective agreement.
