Seeking Tutors to Support Early Childhood Students in Brooklyn

Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for experienced early childhood teaches to provide targeted, differentiated instruction to young students throughout Brooklyn. We are looking for teachers well-versed in the curricula used in engaging and hands-on learning practices. We are also looking for candidates who have a background in teaching emerging readers and supporting students with phonics instruction. Tutors who work with us are responsible for planning and executing lessons that are tailored to their academic areas of need and learning styles of each child they support.
You will be responsible for providing responsive and appropriate in-person support for students to help them navigate the learning they are doing online through the schools they are enrolled in. However, we will provide curriculum support, mentoring, and professional development, in addition to operational support.
Qualifications:
Experience

• 3+ years of early childhood classroom teaching experience
• A Masters Degree in Education is preferred
• Experience working as a tutor is preferred

Job Type & Schedule:

• Part-time (Hours vary based on number of clients you work with).
• Days and times vary based on students' and families' schedules
• Currently seeking candidates with daytime availability (specifically Mondays at 11:00am) and weekend availability

Work Location:

• Ability to travel to families' homes in neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn including, but not limited to Downtown Brooklyn, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge, etc
• Could be offered positions in multiple locations if this is conducive to your schedule

Compensation:
*Compensation is dependent on background and experience

Pay: $65.00 - $100.00 per hour
