Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a EHS Technician. Responsible for the efficient running of the EHS function within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location.
Job Location:
Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
What you will be doing:

• Has training in emergency response, hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, life safety and ergonomic compliance-related activities. Willing to be trained in this if not trained.
• Recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exists
• Assists EHS Supervisor in surveys to determine safe limits of exposure to materials or conditions and recommends control measures.
• May serve as leader or member of emergency response team.
• Willing to help out in maintenance as needed.
• Must have experience with Excel, Word & E-mail

What you will bring along:

• 2 years of relative experience in Environmental Health & Safety
