JOB SUMMARY:
We're seeking a dynamic and hands-on Event Manager (Networking) to join our team and help us level-up the company's presence.
The role is ideal for someone who specialises in building and nurturing a community by networking. You'll collaborate with the team to create event agendas, engage attendees, provide personalised experiences for participants, and foster a vibrant, engaged community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategies to grow and maintain a strong community of event participants and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the team (Event Manager, Deo VR Account Manager) to organize small and large-scale events, such as meetups, conferences, and workshops for Deo VR and Infomediji
- Host events and facilitate discussions to keep participants engaged
- Create networking opportunities for attendees during and after events to foster connections
- Personalize the event experience based on attendee profiles and interests to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction
- Prioritize quality over quantity when attracting attendees, focusing on valuable participants
- Promote events and engage target audiences to drive participation
- Track specific KPIs, such as participant retention rate, community growth, post-event satisfaction levels, and effectiveness
- Manage post-event activities, including gathering feedback, measuring success, and identifying areas for improvement
- Strong background in event management and community building
- Exceptional communication and networking skills
- Experience in digital marketing and promoting events across social media and other relevant communication platforms
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and promoting a brand
- Experience hosting events, ranging in size from 20-30 people
- Long-term vision for nurturing and expanding a community, ensuring growth and keeping members engaged
- Flexibility to travel for business trips globally (US, Europe mostly, LATAM, Asia occasionally) every few months to support events
- Experience in organizing internal and external events
- Preferably located within the United States
- Passion for VR technologies and understanding of the industry
- Experience promoting a high-tech company or brand
