Orange, California Day – 08hrs (United States of America) The Director of Infection Prevention and Epidemiology is responsible for leading and managing the infection prevention and control program across the pediatric health system. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to prevent and control infections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety and quality care.

• Required: Minimum of 8 years of related experience in infection prevention and control, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably pediatrics.
• Preferred: Advanced experience in infection prevention and epidemiology Advanced experience with The Joint Commission (TJC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Title 22, Title 17, and Orange County Health Department and Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA). Five (5) or more years of experience working in a teaching facility.

• Required: Master’s degree with emphasis in a healthcare-related field such as epidemiology, microbiology, public health, nursing, or equivalent.

• Preferred: Advanced certification/fellowship in infection control and epidemiology.
