Facilities Supervisor
You are a natural leader and change advocate who is looking to build a career to develop and grow the Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Aftermarket facilities team and resources through active collaboration with stakeholders. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible to manage the team of maintenance personnel with an emphasis on ensuring smooth operation of equipment and minimize production downtime.
The compensation for this position is $118,643.20 annually. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. What you will own & improve:

• Machine Shop – Maintenance and repair of CNC and manual machines.
• Test Department – Support the maintenance of the test department infrastructure such as air, water, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems.
• Fabrication and Assembly – Maintenance and repair of factory Core and Package Fabrication department systems, such as welders, bandsaws, iron workers, punches, cranes, lifts, skates, and forklifts.
• Factory – Support maintenance and upgrades of existing buildings systems and equipment, including office spaces and other factory concerns.

What you already know:

• Facilities Infrastructure – electrical, water, fire, HVAC
• People Management – Lead a team of direct reports
• Decision Making – Your decision making is logical, directional, and informed
• Machine Shop - Working knowledge of machine shop equipment maintenance (CNC lathe, manual lathe, mills, etc)
• PM System Knowledge – You have participated in a preventative maintenance program and can quickly learn new computer-based CMMS systems
• HAZOPER/Hazardous waste program Knowledge – You are an integral part of and appreciate the importance of proper hazardous waste collection, isolation, and disposal
• Safety Rules and Knowledge – You have an eye for safety, embrace the use of proper PPE, and utilize safe maintenance practices in your daily routine
• Construction/Upgrade Project Management and knowledge of permitting processes
• How to communicate and collaborate with internal team-members

What you will learn (if you don’t know already):

• How to troubleshoot and repair CNC, NC, and older production machines and equipment.
• Cranes, Forklifts and other lifting equipment.
• How to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and around large industrial equipment.
• Oversee, coordinate, and manage facility upgrade projects to ensure schedule and cost milestones are achieved.
• How to balance seemly conflicting daily pressures and priorities.
• Project planning, execution, delivery, and reporting.
• How to develop, implement, and maintain processes to ensure compliance with facility and governmental safety objectives.

How Success is measured:

• Minimal disruptions to production due to utility outages and facility maintenance.
• Oversee the scheduling and training of facilities maintenance personnel to remove scheduling constraints.
• Stakeholder satisfaction with work completed.
• Effectiveness and efficiency of work completed.

About the Team:
The Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Green Department is a team focused environment. This role reports to the Green Department Manager and will work and collaborate as an integral part of a tight-knit and dynamic team helping to drive impactful and lasting change. Other team members include the Fabrication Supervisor, Machine Shop Supervisor, Assembly Supervisor, Test Supervisor, Inspection Supervisory, Production Control Supervisor, Material Handling Supervisor, MRP Controller and Master Scheduler who support a manufacturing facility of over 160 skilled technicians, welders, and machinists. Direct reports include: Facilities Technician (2), and Facilities and Equipment Repair Electrician (1).
