SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives the parts pickup to deliver and/or receive parts, documents, and packages and other items to and from businesses and Company locations.
• Assists feedlot, ranch and/or farm employees in locating and ordering parts; records parts leaving storage area on distribution sheets in order to maintain an accurate inventory count.
• Transfers information from parts distribution sheets to ensure proper cost accounting to individual vehicle and equipment units.
• Inputs inventory information onto the computerized inventory system to keep an accurate and up-to-date accounting of inventory levels.
• Receives inventory into JDE accurately off of invoices.
• Services vehicle driven by keeping it clean, checking fluid levels, replenishing fuel and scheduling pickup services.
• Helps clean parts house, office area, lunch room & bathroom. Dust, sweeps and mops parts house as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Good driving record mandatory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands/fingers to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, and climb in and out of the back of a pick-up.
• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and color vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
