FIRE SPRINKLER SERVICE SALES POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Sales Associate will prepare and communicate service and maintenance quotes to our service clients. Performing regular site walks to assess noted deficiencies and prepare quotations that define solutions to remedy the deficiencies will be an essential part of this role. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to communicate repair and maintenance estimates provided to clients. The Service Sales must help clients understand the capabilities of their fire systems and what and why we recommend the proposed solutions contained in quotes for their consideration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Review daily inspection reports and generate service estimates for any needed repairs
- Use service software to prepare, send, track and follow up on all service estimates
- Meet with service customers and walk their site to understand their fire protection needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitor offerings
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deadlines and customer expectations are met.
IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- 1-2 years of office experience in sales, fire protection, or service trade.
- Experience with fire protection system installation or inspection preferred.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimum guidance.
- Must be able to work in stressful situations in an orderly fashion.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as needed.
- Self-motivated with a strong sales orientation and customer focus.
- Must be accepting of constructive criticism and demonstrate a willingness to improve continually.
The Fire Sprinkler Service Sales must possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as travel to potential projects and jobs sites are required.
- Proficient with reading, legible writing, and basic typing skills.
- Ability to meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency.
- Ability to comply with all federal and state agency requirements.
- Must possess the proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format.
- Must be a citizen/naturalized citizen or permanent resident alien without conditions on status of the United States of America by the date of the first test instrument.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
