Climb Zone USA Laurel LLC is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as an Floor Monitor. Climb Zone is a one of a kind indoor climbing gym featuring over 70 unique themed climbing walls such as Mt. Rushmore, a suit of armor and a map of the United States. We also have an arcade with over 30 gamily friendly games and a Soft Play attraction for our younger guests.
Our mission is to create a family-friendly atmosphere, where guests of all ages can enjoy indoor rock climbing together!
Instructors have an extremely important role in creating a fun and safe environment for guests. Instructors monitor the climbing floor, ensuring participants are climbing correctly and safely.
You must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Engage Guests in a friendly, upbeat manner, always advocate guest satisfaction!
- Enforce safety standards firmly and command respect (deliver guest rules & instructions)
- Possess full knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in implementing them
- Maintain regular attendance for all scheduled shifts
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to climb 30 foot walls
- Ability to be on your feet 2 to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to work in fast action environment while maintaining control
- Ability to give direction and enforce rules
- Must have reliable transportation
- Availability to work day/night shifts and holidays
- Must be available to work weekends
