Floor Quality Engineer

We are seeking and are in need of a Quality Engineer to support AS9100 procedures, provide fabrication quality oversight and non-conformance resolution.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, who is able to work with multiple departments to ensure our products are meeting the highest levels of quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support AS9100 procedures and processes improvements
- Floor Quality Inspection, Failure Investigation, In-Process and Test Sign-Offs
- Review engineering drawings, work instruction and test procedures to verify customer requirements are being met. Provide feedback for required inspection points
- Provide support as product assurance and inspection during fabrication and testing
- Prepare product assurance paperwork to support acceptance of deliverables
- Support non-conformance resolution and management of Non-conformance system
- Support and review GIDEPs for product assurance
- Manage QC personnel for on floor inspections and training
- Manage Calibration Database and support calibration of equipment
- Work with purchasing to verify and approve procurements
- Work with Receiving and Inspection on product verifications, support any non-conformances or vendor SCARs as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-10 years experience
- Experience with AS9100 processes and certification
- Experience with quality engineering and product assurance
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with Spacecraft Fabrication and Test
- Experience with non-conformance resolution
- Experience with statistical quality control methods
- Experience with part inspection
- Experience with manufacturing process development
Experience
- Spacecraft: 1 year (Preferred)
- Quality management/ Field Quality: 5 years (Required)

- Bachelor's (Required)
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Full time
- Some overtime may be needed
