Position Overview:
The Florida Solar for All Associate Program Director will support SELF’s development, implementation and management of Florida’s federal Solar for All (SFA) program, part of the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. The Associate Manager will work with SELF’s SFA Director and staff, as well as the Florida SFA coalition team, to develop and implement an equitable solar access program to enable the rapid deployment of distributed solar for low-income and disadvantaged communities (LIDAC) across the state, including federally recognized tribes. This person will be primarily responsible for organizing and tracking the strategic workplan, program deliverables and key performance indicators; organizing and reporting on meetings; drafting and filing of documents; supporting the hiring and onboarding of additional staff; tracking and meeting compliance requirements and program deadlines and managing coalition communications and relationships. This position reports to SELF’s Florida Solar for All Program Director.
This is a grant-funded 5-year position, with the possibility of extension beyond the grant period
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience managing grants
· Experience supporting the implementation of income-qualified rooftop solar programing
· Experience with project management tools like Salesforce
Requirements
· Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
· Resident of or willing to relocate to Florida
· Minimum 5 years of professional experience
· Minimum 2 years of project management experience
· Familiarity with the clean energy deployment and policy landscape in Florida
· Knowledge in: Computer skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track and support oversight of all aspects of the Florida Solar for All program.
• Support the development of comprehensive program plans, the implementation of program initiatives, and ongoing evaluations to ensure that all program activities are executed according to predefined timeline, legal and quality standards.
• Work closely with SELF’s leadership team, staff and consultants to draft job descriptions, presentations, compliance documents, website postings and other written materials as needed
• Organize and track progress on the Sf A strategic workplan, program deliverables and key performance indicators
• Organize and prepare summary notes on Sf A meetings
• Support hiring, onboarding and management of Sf A staff
• Manage Sf A coalition communications and relationships
• Support tracking compliance deadlines and requirements, ensure compliance materials are filed timely
• Prepare reports on SFA activities, outputs and outcomes
• Provide operational support to staff members during peak times and to fill identified gaps
• Support educational sessions on the program, Federal guidelines, and Florida-specific rollout
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Vision and Hearing Requirements:
This is an office position; the candidate must have the ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time, and must be able to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 20 pounds. The ability to communicate with internal and external clients via phone, email, video calls, and text is a daily expectation.
