Description

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation empowers individuals with disabilities to maximize employment, achieve economic self-sufficiency and independence, and to contribute back to society. We also help businesses and employers recruit, retain and accommodate employees with disabilities.

We are seeking a Food Preparation Center Coordinator to supervise the preparation and serving of meals three time a day at Charles Mc Dowell Center for in house and day students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare healthy daily menus within budget
• Responsible for planning meals that meet the dietary restrictions for any student that admits with medical guidance.
• Train, supervise and evaluate kitchen staff. Assist with preparation and serving of meals
• Purchase food, review and maintain records such as food inventory, deliveries, receipts and other day to day operational record keeping
• Maintain sanitized food prep and service areas. Apply and enforce departmental rules, regulations and policies relative to food preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned.
