London Calling Pasty Company is an award winning food truck business. We are British themed and focus on Fish and Chips on this truck.
This truck runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Shifts are 12 hours. Shifts begin in Springfield, MO and are worked within an hour or two of Springfield.
We are looking for team members who can drive to and from events and work the window and fry fish and fries. To be successful in this position, you must have strong time management and organizational skills, handle all types of customers in a positive manner and work well in a small team of three. You must also have a driving license and clean driving record and be willing to drive the mobile truck to and from events. We will train you to drive this truck but prior driving experience is beneficial (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, Uhauls, etc.)

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Being a cashier & operating a point of sale system (Square)
• Expediting customer orders
• Overseeing potentially hazardous foods using proper food safety precaution
• Using fryers to fry fish and chips (fries)
• Pre and Post-shift organizing and inventory
• Maintaining a positive atmosphere when working with customers and other employees
• Offering each customer an experience they want to repeat
• Driving the truck to and from events
• Be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Problem solving

Required:

• 1 year or more of professional food service experience or have worked on a food truck or have other work related driving experience (Amazon, Coca-cola, Moving Company or RV, Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, OTR, etc)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work and some events, most of which are outside of Springfield (Mileage is paid to drivers if personal car is used)
• Ability to work (3) 12 hour shifts. (Shifts are generally 8 am to 9:30 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
• Ability to get along with all types of people
• Must be 18 or older

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
