Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for a young boy in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging with children. This role requires someone who can create a safe, stimulating, and fun atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the child.
Responsibilities

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for a 5-year-old boy
• Engaging in various indoor and outdoor activities with the child
• Identify and plan stimulating educational activities and local recreational activities (after school) for the child
• Drive the child to scheduled weekly recreational activities (after school)
• Plan and coordinate play dates/ activities with child’s friends
• Organizing and keeping the house clean
• Helping with daily household duties, laundry, and restocking supplies (e.g., snacks, stationary, personal care items, etc.)
• Prepare and pack belongings for family activities and trips
• Maintain a schedule

Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience in childcare or as a nanny; familiarity with daycare settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Ability to clean up after activities and maintain a tidy environment for the child.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both child and parent(s).
- A genuine love for children, patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
-Willing to provide references from previous employer(s).
-Eligible to work in the United States and maintain a valid driver’s license.
-Non-smoker.
-Position is for a second nanny. Schedule is bi-weekly Monday-Sunday. Overnights are required. Weeks/hours are coordinated with current nanny.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 168 per week
