Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 1 to join our Receiver/Exciter Assembly Team located in Baltimore, MD.
The 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 1 is responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 15-20 represented (union) employees and processes in a Manufacturing environment.
You will work independently across organizations; manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets; assign and manage represented Operators to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields; implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule; and perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operators.
2nd Shift Hours – 3:00pm – 12:30am

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment; (Note, 9 years of work experience in manufacturing, production, or engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degree)
  
• Prior experience with coaching, mentoring, and/or leading colleagues and/or groups
  
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance for which U.S. citizenship is required
  

Preferred Qualifications M1:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or Business area
  
• Active U.S. Secret Security clearance
  
• Experience with SAP/MES
  
• Experience with ISO, LEAN/WCM, and problem-solving methodologies
  
• Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment
  
• Previous project or personnel management experience

Salary Range: $90,700 - $136,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
