HR Benefit Specialist

- Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- Benefits administration including implementation, tracking, communications, processing and team member support. Maintain HR Benefits Module.
- Manage and enforce pre-screening processes and tracking company-wide.
- Support acquisitions with explaining benefits and hiring practices.
- Create, implement and train management on HR Benefit related topics.
- Conduct audits of various payroll and HR tracking and procedures to assure accuracy on benefit deductions.
- Conduct and assists HR Team with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Schedule conference calls, meetings and maintain calendar.
- Compose correspondence and provide administrative support regarding the same.
- Make photocopies, fax documents, and file (physical and electronic)
- Send out monthly reports to certain carriers.
- Review team members on LOA, STD, ADA and FMLA and determine if premium letter needs to be sent.
- Run weekly reports to determine election changes/new enrollees.
- Complete state medical notices received and fax them back to the required facility.
- Complete short-term disability and long-term disability
- Review EDI files emails received for accuracy and correction to all the carriers.
- Help desk assist enrolled with questions and assisting to resolve.
- Help with managing open enrollment, including annual and open enrollment for acquisitions.
