What
You’ll Do

  • Processing payroll: Collects and verifies workforce data, computes wages and taxes, takes care of deductions and overtime, and matches wages with timesheets.
  • Maintaining records: Maintains payroll records, including wage garnishments, unemployment, and ensures that computer files are kept orderly.
  • Ensuring compliance: Ensures compliance with tax regulations and other payroll-related laws.
  • Liaison: Acts as a liaison between the human resources and accounting departments.
  • Addressing inquiries: Addresses payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Preparing reports: Prepares and maintains reports such as vacation accrual, turnover, and overtime.
  • Supporting other areas: Supports other areas of finance and human resources as needed.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a HR Coordinator or Administrative position.
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with previous payroll and benefit systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
