Job Overview
We are seeking an Independent Contractor to join our team as a Driver. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations in Vancouver and Washougal area using a large delivery van. Vehicle will be provided
Duties
- Operate a Delivery Van to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and organize your van
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
-Use a smart phone effectively
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle
-Be able to deliver around 40 stops daily
-Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (most of your packages are smaller 5-10lbs)
-Be able to work Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends will be needed
-Work starts around 9:45am and is around 6 hours of driving
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Capability to lift and move heavy items during loading and unloading processes
-Must be legal to work in the United States
-Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must not have more than 1 driving infraction in the past 2 years
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $140.00 per day
