POSITION OVERVIEW:
The lady’s locker room attendant is primarily responsible for ensuring the comfort of the lady golfers, members and their guests. The attendant must always keep the locker room clean and tidy. In addition, the attendant must be responsive to the personal needs of the members and their guests who use the locker room. The attendant will inform the members and their guests of information concerning the golf program as well as other sporting and social activities. The lady’s locker room attendant will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the Ladies Locker Room and Racquets Chalet. This position requires lifting and moving of some furniture. It also includes bending and squatting to clean and pick up debris. This is a physically demanding position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Graciously tends to the needs of members and guests and anticipates requests. Creates an environment that facilitates a welcoming enjoyable club experience.

• Setup, maintain, and close coffee/snack station

• Responsible for keeping the lady’s locker room and peripheral area restrooms clean, stocked, and fresh always.

• Setting up and restocking all items used, as well as mopping floors and keeping counters, showers, and bathroom stalls cleaned.

• Restock refreshments table for golf tournaments.

• Shining, cleaning and repairing members and their guest’s shoes.

• Provides safety and security of members and guests personal property

• Vacuuming carpeted areas throughout the Locker Room and other areas of the Clubhouse as directed by management.

• Launders locker room towels and transports from laundry area.

• Maintains clean supply of folded bath towels and wash towels.

• Take and dispose of trash to proper location

• Sweeping and mopping all hard surfaces inside the Racquets Chalet.

• Monitoring overall cleanliness inside the Racquets Chalet.

• Restock snacks and refreshments inside the Racquets Chalet.

• Dusting and cleaning furniture.

• Stocking bathrooms with towels and appropriate toilet articles.

• General straightening and dusting of furniture.

• Washing windows and mirrors.

• Scrubbing toilet bowls and general cleaning of stalls and showers.

• General cleaning of bathroom vanities.

• Takes and delivers messages from members and guests.

• Is knowledgeable of club services, features and events.

• Keeps aware of par stocks and notifies the Clubhouse Manager when inventories are low.

• Follows established health and safety compliance.

• Always presents an immaculately groomed and presentable appearance in appropriate uniform with nametag.

• Works in a positive, cooperative and pleasant manner with members, colleagues and management.

• Seasonally monitors coat room at club events.

• Performs all other tasks and duties as determined necessary by management.

• Report any functional problems to Clubhouse Manager

• Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Computer Skills (Familiar with restaurant POS system)

• One to two years’ experience in the hospitality field preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires indoor and outdoor labor. The temperature generally is moderate and controlled.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced service environment and could maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.

• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, lifting, bending, reaching, communicating effectively, and visual acuity.

• Requires ability to lift and carry objects 0-25lbs.

• Requires communicating effectively with members, guests, staff and management.

• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

PROJECTED WORK SCHEDULE

• Must be able to work five days a week, eight hours a day for up to forty hours per week. Hours during peek season weeks will require more than five days and more than forty hours.
