Hire Art is helping a global leader in AI development hire Language Auditors - Italian (Full-Time) to train generative artificial intelligence models in specialty domains.

We are looking for specialists who are native Italian speakers who can review and audit complex and varied data to ensure the highest levels of accuracy/consistency are met. Auditors should have a background in translation, linguistics, or professional writing, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to play a critical part in the development of the next generation of cutting-edge technology. Translators, interpreters, educators, academic linguists, and professional writers are highly encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will be assigned to evaluate work done by others that is being produced for specific, high-priority projects. You may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

As an AI Language Auditor - Italian, you will:

• Audit work produced for various language projects used to train generative AI models.
• Audit original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
• Audit edited responses that were produced by an AI model and edited by a person.
• Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate.
• Work 30 to 40 hours per week. M-F, 8 hours per weekday is preferred, but flexible.
• Attend 2-4 recurring weekly meetings.
• Bachelor's degree
• Native fluency in Italian
• At least one of the following: post-graduate degree conducted in Italian, Italian translation experience, or professional Italian writing/editing experience
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in spotting writing errors and inconsistencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Editing experience
• Interest in AI and machine learning concepts
• Native fluency in English or another language

Commitment: This is a full-time (30-40 hours per week), on-going contract position staffed via Hire Art. It is remote and available to U.S.-based candidates, with preference given to candidates who can work M-F, 8 hours per day with some flexibility.
