Gottlieb and Greenspan LLC is currently seeking a litigation attorney for immediate hire. This boutique law firm specializes in representing medical providers in reimbursement disputes with insurance companies.
The ideal candidate will possess 0-6 years of litigation experience, hold a JD from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey and the United States District for the District of New Jersey. Admission to the State and District Courts of New York is preferred, but not required.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting legal complaints
• Conducting legal research and writing to support motion practice
• Participating in settlement negotiations and making court appearances

Essential qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active and good standing membership in New Jersey (required)
• Admissions to New York (preferred), EDNY (preferred), SDNY (preferred)
• 0 to 6 years of experience in litigation
• Experience in healthcare or healthcare reimbursement is an advantage but not mandatory

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related paperwork
• Creative thinking for devising effective legal strategies and solutions for complex issues
