Spring EQ is hiring a Loan Closer to join our rapidly growing Operations team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience closing home equity or mortgage loans, a solid understanding of TRID requirements as they relate to closing, and proficient knowledge of loan origination technology. This is an extensive and dynamic operational position on our Third Party originations team.

Responsibilities:

Perform in an automated closing process that produces high quality, efficient loan closings for a best-in-class borrower experience
Prepare closing packages with consistent supporting documentation for loan files
Verify that all documents are accurate
Effectively manage closing pipeline to meet closing date selected by borrower
Work in partnership with settlement agents to ensure that accurate and compliant Closing Disclosure is provided to borrowers
Clear any outstanding closing conditions
Work in partnership with treasury to order funds for disbursement in a timely manner
Support Operations and Sales teams as the Closing subject matter expert, answering questions as appropriate
Manage escalations related to closing issues, resolving open issues in a timely manner
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:

College degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience in a prior role is considered
3+ years of home loan closing experience required
Experience in TRID compliance as they relate to closing
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent customer service skills, continually guaranteeing a best in class customer experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-past, team oriented environment
