The Materia Hndler is responsible for the movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the Production area of the facility. Additional responsibilities include: mixing and sampling of incoming raw materials, pre-stage of raw materials for production use, and organization of material in the production warehouse.

During your shift as a Material Handler, you will

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas.
• Assist in the unloading of incoming goods in compliance with ISO and OSHA procedures.
• Off load bulk tanker deliveries.
• Move palletized finished goods from work stations to pallet wrappers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all raw materials, packaging and intermediate inventory, including proper labeling, storage, and usage of these items.
• Comply with all safety regulations; maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Review production batch tickets or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments for material and equipment needs.
• Fulfill material requests for all departments in a timely manner.

If you have...

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Progressive, positive work history; 1-3 years of experience of warehousing, shipping/receiving or material handling experience required.
• Valid Driver’s license (required)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic production environment
• Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
