Responsibilities for performing Non Destructive Testing utilizes X-ray, liquid penetrants, magnetic particle, Eddy current and ultrasonic techniques as certified (FARS, RSM, SBs, Ads, etc.). Evaluates inspection data, interprets Inspection findings/results, and records inspection results on approved documents. Works under general supervision and must obtain and maintain certification(s) of level II in at least one discipline.

What You Will Do
  • Perform NDT inspections, test & calibration.
  • Evaluate the results of all inspections performed using NDT processes to the level of certification held.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection for all NDT processes.
  • Perform process checks/audits on all materials and equipment used in NDT.
  • Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 3:30pm – 12:00am.

Working Environment
  • Minimal travel required (<10%)
  • Willingness to work nonstandard hours
  • Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need
  • Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer
  • 1+ years experienced in the Aerospace field
  • Previous experience with braze and weld joints.
  • Basic understanding of detailed prints and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of non-destructive inspection techniques.
  • Basic working knowledge of shop floor equipment (setup, cleaning, operation).
  • Basic computer skills (Window based software, Word, Excel, etc.).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
