Our client is seeking candidates is seeking candidates for Network and Computer Systems Administrator role to support the United States Air Force (USAF) client where we are focused on delivering support to enable and maintain U.S. military IT systems support. Position requires onsite support at Joint Base Charleston, SC. This person will also supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
Description of Duties:

Perform as functional system administrator provide functional system administrator support in the application, installation, configuration, administration and testing of information technology systems and equipment
Perform as functional system administrator to support and maintain NIPR/SIPR systems. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain current NIPR/SIPR desktop/laptop/tablet configurations within Air Force Networking Operating Center standards
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain handheld client devices (including but not limited to tablets, and smart phone devices, as applicable)
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain, peripheral devices, including but not limited to printers, monitors and scanners
May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
Provide support by establishing, manning, and executing troubleshooting services, information assurance, and asset accountability to support end users; forward and track trouble tickets to the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), as required, and utilize the current ticketing system to track all work orders and support requests
Establish, manage, and maintain user network connectivity via physical and wireless connections to include connecting patch panel to network switch
Install security updates to ensure systems are in compliance with applicable Do D, DAF and local policies
Directly responsible for compliance with information assurance standard operating procedures inspected annually by the 628th Communications Squadron

Education, Experience, and Security Requirements:

Possess between 4 - 6 years' experience in Computer Science or related field
Possess 8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M - at a minimum of Comp TIA Security+
Possess an Active Secret security clearance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $89,294.00 - $100,646.00 per year
