Immediately hiring experienced Drivers for Bronx, NY. Our Drivers are Essential Workers! Drivers are HOME every day! ROUTES AVAILABLE IN QUEENS AND BROOKLYN!
Operative Cake has opportunities for reliable Drivers to transport baked goods and snacks to the greater New York area. These products are delivered to NYC Schools, encompassing approximately 1500 sites. The service area is inclusive of all five boroughs. As a dedicated carrier, our mission is to leverage our scale and our knowledge of information technology and routing systems. Aligned with a highly motivated and trained professional workforce, we bring our customers the best customer service with much of our success due to our professional, team-orientated drivers. Operative Cake has been doing business since 1940 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grocery Haulers.

Requirements:

• Valid and current license
• Must have 2-year verifiable driving experience
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record
• No unexplained gaps in employment
• Must be DOT medically qualified
• A Motor Vehicle Report will be run for all states where applicants hold or have held a license for the past 3 years
• Physically demanding – daily tasks will include repeatedly lifting about 50 lbs., pulling stacks of trays weighing approximately 25 to 50 pounds, and loading/unloading grocery products from box truck
