Allied Therapy Partners is a small, therapist owned and operated, mobile rehabilitation practice that provides services in patient homes throughout the greater Chicagoland area.
We are hiring an energetic, caring and passionate Pelvic Health Occupational Therapist to work closely with individuals with pelvic dysfunction; the caseload is primarily individuals in the perinatal phase of life.
If you are a strong communicator who is effective at time management then this role could be for you. This role involves working independently as a professional with very little on-site direct supervision due to the mobile nature of our practice. This role requires car travel and the treating therapist will be required to drive between appointments. This is a full time, W2 position with benefits. Professional mentoring is available upon request.
The list of responsibilities include:

• Evaluating patients using clinical judgement and standardized testing
• Interpreting standardized testing results
• Determining appropriate occupational therapy diagnoses.
• Developing and carrying out a occupational therapy plan of care using appropriate interventions
• Goal writing
• Developing and instructing patients on home exercise programs
• Communicating with medical and non-medical professionals relating to a patient’s case
• Conducting occupational therapy sessions face-to-face or using video in home setting
• Completing daily SOAP notes, evaluations, discharge documents, and progress notes in a timely manner
• Referring out to appropriate medical professionals as needed
• Staying up to date on evidenced based management of pelvic health dysfunction

Job requirements:

• Minimum 6 month pelvic health experience required or completion of Herman and Wallace PF1 or APTA Pelvic Health Level 1
• Valid Illinois occupational therapy license required
• Must be a US citizen or have permission to work in the United States
• Must have a reliable source of transportation and a valid Illinois drivers license if driving
• Candidates must provide valid and up to date proof of vaccination for COVID-19, TDAP, Influenza
• Candidates must provide a valid and up to date negative TB test
• CPR certification required
