This temporary position will support Collins Program & Project Management activities in a consultant role across multiple programs, including Program Startup, replanning, baseline activities, Program Management CDRL deliveries, etc. This position will be a remote position taking direction out of El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Act as an active non-advocate embedded with our program/engineering teams to ensure each program is setup for success prior to going to critical Gate 5 (IPDS) reviews
  
• Support Program Planning & Replanning, including critical baseline activities
  
• Support program startup and execution, from Raytheon Gate 5 through 11, including the implementation and analysis of EVMS & other program engineering metrics
  
• Act as a mentor to executing Value Stream Leads & Program Managers
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Position, Navigation, & Timing technologies & customer base
  
• Experience in Program/Project startup, management, and execution
  
• Establishes and implements critical functional strategies and operational plans for the area of responsibility, with impact on the achievement of results.
  
• Extensively analyzes problems to seek understanding of the underlying issue and root cause of the problem.
  
• Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. Solutions are cutting-edge, and achieved through collaboration and dialog with other experts in the field.
  
• Able to negotiate and compromise to influence internal and external parties to accept concepts, practices and approaches of the job area.
  
• Requires ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization. Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders both within and outside of the function.
  
• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is $75.96 to $151.92. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
