Amphenol Pcd is on the search for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician for our Beverly, MA location.
Job Summary:
Handle routine daily operations related to the MRB process. Must facilitate processes efficiently to ensure continued progress while maintaining accurate inventories and the MRB master log. Create related metrics and present findings. Requires a wide range of skills from Excel (critical), Power Point, using metrology tools and microscope screening. Must have the ability to quickly learn the RMA process and all aspects of nonconforming materials handling.
Essential Functions:

• Under limited supervision, oversee and perform duties associated with Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and Discrepant Material Reports (DMR)
• Duties include receiving of RMAs, creation of DMRs and facilitating the dispositioning process
• Assist engineering with the evaluation of discrepant materials including testing, measuring and microscope screening
• Perform investigations relating to non-conforming material

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Manufacturing Experience
• Excel
• ERP System Experience (Macola experience, a plus)
• Able to perform mechanical precision measuring
• Adept at multi-tasking with a 'customer service' attitude

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3+ years job related Quality Assurance or related QC experience
• RMA & MRB expertise
• Able to strategically conduct investigations
• Manage a wide range of tasks
• Exercise sound judgment to prioritize tasks in an efficient manner
• Continuous Improvement mindset

Educational Requirements:

• Two-year degree, or equivalent experience
