Global R&D and Innovation Manager

The Global R&D and Innovation Manager will lead our research and development efforts in advancing our interconnect products for aerospace and military applications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving innovation, managing talented team of engineers, and ensuring the successful development of leading-edge solutions for military and aerospace applications.
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams globally, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead the design and development of interconnect products (connectors and accessories, cable assemblies, cable and pipe support, etc.) tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the military and aerospace sectors.
- Develop and execute global engineering strategies in alignment with company objectives, ensuring design excellence, cost-effectiveness, and product reliability.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineering teams in different regions to optimize product development and integration.
- Efficiently manage global engineering resources, budgets, and project timelines.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and apply relevant innovations to our product portfolio.
- Other responsibilities or duties as required.
Required Skills/Qualifications (mandatory on resume):
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex R&D projects from conception to market launch.
- Extensive leadership experience in the military, aerospace, or related industries, with a proven track record of managing global teams.
- In-depth expertise in interconnect design, manufacturing processes, and a deep understanding of industry standards.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience leading an engineering department
- Bachelor's Degree
- BS in Engineering
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Will have direct reports domestically and internationally.
