Research Technician 1 performs routine procedures such as isolation and cryopreservation of cells and plasma from patient specimens such as blood and tissue; prepares solutions and culture media; places supply orders to replenish laboratory stocks; handles and updates biosafety protocols.

The OSUCCC – James is the only cancer program in the United States that features a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center aligned with a nationally ranked academic medical center and a freestanding cancer hospital on the campus of one of the nation’s largest public universities.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $15 - $16.78 hourly.
