About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in someone's life? A young person in Lebanon, NJ, is seeking a Self-Directed Employee (SDE) to help them connect with their community and support their personal growth. This role involves assisting with a variety of tasks, including maintaining driving skills, managing a new schedule, time management for college, and homework guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with community connection and engagement.
Support the individual in maintaining and improving driving skills.
Help manage a weekly schedule, including time management for college coursework.
Guide and encourage the individual in completing homework and other personal tasks.
Foster an environment of personal growth and development.

Qualifications:

Must be able to recognize that disability is a label and not a description

Must be person centered minded

Staff need to be open minded and come with a positive attitude

Staff must remember that you are working for a person and not a label

Must be 18 years old or older

Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent

Must have a car

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record

Must be willing to have a background check

Must be willing to take a drug screening

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States

Schedule of Services:

6 to 10 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on performance.
Preferably afternoons with flexibility for weekends.

Compensation:

Starting at $22 per hour.
