Summary

Responsibilities include the skills to develop procedures that are technically correct and utilize human factoring while incorporating industry best practices. Performs office and/or field technical work and recommends action on plans and procedures. Work involves the application of technical writing knowledge gained through training and experience. Judgment in the execution of assignments is critical. Specific tasks will vary by department and division.

What You'll Do

Supports multiple departments in technical writing expertise for the development and maintenance of procedures.
Assists in the preparation and analysis of reports and presentations.
Project leader for projects, scheduling procedure audits and field surveillance visits.
Primarily responsible for procedure writing and coordination of other SRP groups efforts.
Provides technical assistance on special projects as required by supervision.

What It Takes To Succeed

Excellent proofreading and editing skills required.
Microsoft Share Point experience a plus.
Saviynt experience a plus.
Proficiency in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) preferred.
Adobe Frame Maker experience a plus.

Experience

Individual with a Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) Writer's certification preferred.
Minimum 6 years of related experience required. Promotions are determined by demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by management.

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
